All members of VOCAL’s employer network can access our free employer support service, which includes:
- Quarterly network meetings
- A dedicated point of contact at VOCAL for one-to-one support
- Guidance through the Carer Positive accreditation process
- One complimentary training session
- Access to all carer-focused training
- Access to all open sessions that would be relevant (sessions open to all network members which cover a range of introductory topics)
Employers paying for The Caring Employer service can access additional support and content, including:
- Guidance on successfully implementing internal carer networks, carer policy, carer passports and more
- Support with internal communications
- Two further training sessions over the course of the year
- Digital resources, templates and guides covering a range of topics
In addition, those who sign up for TCE will have the opportunity to volunteer with VOCAL at our events or take part in business-wide challenge events. To spread awareness further, we will promote your membership of TCE and the work your organisation does to support working carers – on LinkedIn and in our newsletter for professionals. You will also have the chance to speak about your work at events, if you wish.
For larger organisations, you will also be able to access further bespoke training and consultancy support where we can work with you to design specific courses to suit your needs as an organisation.
