The Scotland Act 2016 is devolving some benefits to the Scottish Government including Carers’ Allowance, disability and housing benefits.
The Scottish Government is now seeking people’s views on the devolved benefits and how they are delivered by a new Social Security Agency. Carers are urged to take part in the consultation and provide their own experiences and views on how they think the system should work in the future.
