On Saturday 9 November 2024, VOCAL is organising a skydiving fundraiser! Skydive St Andrews are helping us to facilitate this event at Fife Airport.

Safety

Every skydive will be a tandem jump: each participant is securely attached to a fully qualified and experienced instructor, with a dual harness.

This event is weather-dependent. If the conditions are unsafe, we may postpone the event.

Before participating, you will need to complete a medical form, which VOCAL can provide to you.

Who can take part?

Most people can take part, but there are some restrictions, such as if you are too young or have a medical condition preventing you from participating. You can read the full list of restrictions here.

What does it cost?

We are offering some free places for carers and companions to do the skydive, if you can raise a minimum of £500 through sponsorship.

St Andrew’s Skydive will cover the insurance (plus you’ll become a member of the British Parachute association on the day!).

How do I register?

Contact Andrew (Partnership and Business Manager), at awarburton@vocal.org.uk to register your interest and to arrange a time to speak.

The free places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so get your requests in as soon as possible.
